Tuesday night was the Built To Spill show, so Wednesday was dedicated to one of the worst hangovers in history. I felt like Gary Busey after a week-long bender.
I ate like crap (onion rings, mexican food), just trying to find something that would make me feel better. Nothing worked. Not even cheese dip.
I was also supposed to run yesterday but that didn’t happen. It would have taken nothing short of a Christmas Miracle to get me on that track.
Lesson learned. No more booze, or at least no more jager bombs. Jesus Christ.

This was my fortune last night, and bad grammar aside, I believe that Pablo is right. At least today will be better, that’s for sure.
100 Days of Real Food
I’ve been slowly eliminating the processed foods we buy from the grocery store. I would like to quit them cold turkey but I’m too chicken. I’m afraid I might freak out and tackle the first person I see eating Doritos.
Also, I’m pretty sure Trent would move out if I stopped buying him Pizza Rolls and Fruit Roll Ups. He has the diet of an obese eight-year-old.

Instead I’m going to wrangle four kids under the age of ten.
I totally forgot I’m these guys were playing tonight and that my friend Tricia bought us tickets ages ago.
So today’s goal is to eat as healthy as possible to make up for all the beers I’ll be drinking tonight. Mmmmm, beer. How I’ve missed you.

I’m going to see them play in Dallas for my birthday.
My birthday is in October. I’m going to lose ten pounds by then.

I started week four today. I ran at the gym since it was 100 degrees outside.
In the middle of my last five minute run a wasp flew in my hair (story of my life) but I didn’t stop running. I kept running. With a wasp in my hair.
Rocky wouldn’t have stopped.
While I may not have stopped, I did almost fall off. Which, sadly, wouldn’t be the first time. I have the grace of the Three Stooges all wrapped up into one person.

Instead of going to the gym I ran outside since the temperature had dropped to the mid-eighties. I was a little nervous about the transition from the treadmill to pavement but everything was fine. Last night was actually the first time I wanted to keep going after my workout was over.
